The Best Clubs in Bangkok

Go to Sing Sing Theater for atmosphere, Beam for house and techno, and Levels for a straightforward big night with commercial music. Route 66 is the choice if you want a huge Thai crowd rather than a tourist one.

Clubs change quickly in Bangkok, and many publish little online. This list includes only venues we could find current evidence for, and we have not tested them ourselves. Check each club’s own channels on the day.

Club Area Music Hours to check
Sing Sing Theater Sukhumvit Soi 45 Not published Tuesday to Saturday from 9 pm
Beam Thonglor House and techno Listed to 2 am
Levels Sukhumvit Soi 11 Open format, commercial house, pop Daily from 10 pm
Route 66 RCA Hip-hop, live bands, K-Pop Listed 9 pm to 4 am

Sing Sing Theater

The official site lists Tuesday to Saturday from 9 pm on Sukhumvit Soi 45, with table bookings online. Time Out describes a dreamlike take on 1930s Shanghai by designer Ashley Sutton, with red lighting, lanterns, mezzanines and a grand staircase, and performers who move through the crowd.

Pick it if the room matters as much as the music. It suits couples and small groups and is the most visual club night in the city. Time Out’s listing is an old one, so treat the official site as the reference for opening days.

Beam

Time Out places Beam at 72 Thong Lo and describes a return after a break, with a focus on house and techno and occasional funk. The dance floor has no tables, so there is room to move, and the VOID sound system is the draw. Its listing shows daily hours to 2 am, but that page dates from 2024, so confirm which nights have a programme.

Pick it if you care about sound and want to dance. It works well after cocktails at Dry Wave, in the same district.

Levels

On Sukhumvit Soi 11, Levels has a main room, a mezzanine over the dance floor and a terrace. The main room plays open format, commercial house and pop, and the terrace plays house and techno. It says it opens seven days a week, from 10 pm until late.

The dress code is smart casual, with no shorts, open-toe footwear, hooded tops, sleeveless tops, caps or athletic wear. Reservations are recommended, and tables are booked by phone. Pick it for a simple, high-energy night close to the BTS. Above Eleven on the same soi makes an easy first stop.

Route 66

Route 66 is on Royal City Avenue, known as RCA, which is the classic Thai club strip. Table Journey lists separate rooms with hip-hop, live bands and K-Pop, plus an outdoor main stage. The club’s own site shows 2026 events, including a Songkran party with tickets sold at the door.

Pick it for scale and a local crowd. Expect a group night built around tables and bottles. It is a taxi ride from most hotels, so plan your way back.

Rooftops with DJs

If you want music without a full club, try a rooftop. SIN has DJs and performance artists, with river views from the 27th floor. Tichuca on Sukhumvit Soi 40 has resident DJs and free entry, and SEEN says it has a DJ every night. See rooftop bars in Bangkok for hours and dress codes.

How late, and the rules at the door

Closing time. The general closing time has been 2 am. Resident Advisor reported in December 2023 that approved venues could stay open to 4 am in designated zones including Silom and Ratchadapisek. Rules and enforcement can change, and we could not confirm a current official list. Do not assume a venue runs to 4 am unless it says so.

Age and ID. Expect a minimum age of 20. Carry an original passport, as some Bangkok venues do not accept copies or phone images. Tichuca states this outright.

Dress. Long trousers, a clean shirt and closed shoes are the safe choice. Levels bars shorts and open-toe shoes.

Tables. At many large clubs, tables and bottle sets are the main way to spend. Ask the price before you agree to a table, and ask about any minimum spend.

Getting home. Use a ride-hailing app or a hotel car rather than street offers, and keep your hotel’s name and address in Thai on your phone.
